Built on an open book.
Custom estate homes and energy-efficient income properties — delivered through a single accountable office, every contract in your name, nothing marked up.
Two ways we build — both on an open book.

Your private residence.
Bespoke waterfront and estate homes, managed end to end — every trade contract in your name, nothing marked up.
A rental that pencils.
Energy-efficient, purpose-built rentals — the financing and tax incentives assembled for you, nothing marked up.
One office, accountable for the whole.
Most houses of scale are assembled by many parties — each accountable for a fragment, none for the result. My Home Builders exists to hold the centre: a boutique construction-management practice, personally directed, engaged on a small number of private homes at any one time.
Your name on every contract.
Under the agency model you hold each trade contract directly; the practice holds none and takes no margin on the work. We have nothing to protect except the quality of your house and the discipline of its budget.

A waterfront estate on the Ottawa River.
13,582 sq ft on the Ottawa River — insulated-concrete structure, geothermal energy, on-site solar and an indoor aquatic room, engineered toward net-zero. Under construction through 2026, with completion in 2027.

What makes My Home Builders different from a general contractor?
We work as your construction manager on an open-book agency model rather than as a general contractor. You hold every trade contract directly, in your own name, and the practice takes no markup on the work — so there is nothing to hide inside a single price. The result is full cost transparency, direct trade relationships, and complete visibility into every decision throughout construction.
Do you build fully custom homes?
Yes. Every home is designed around the client's site, lifestyle and ambitions. We focus on bespoke waterfront and estate residences, as well as energy-efficient, purpose-built income properties — always with an emphasis on craftsmanship, building performance and long-term value.
Where do you build?
We serve Ottawa and Eastern Ontario, including the city's west-end and Ottawa River waterfront communities, Prescott and Russell, and the Outaouais. We consider select projects beyond this depending on scope and complexity.
Can you build on land I already own?
Yes. Many of our clients already hold their building lot. We guide the entire process — from feasibility and design coordination through permitting, budgeting, construction and final completion.
When should I get in touch?
As early as possible. Involving us during planning lets us help with budgeting, design decisions, consultant coordination and scheduling before construction begins — the stage where the decisions that shape cost and outcome are actually made.
How many projects do you take on?
No more than two new homes a year, most often by introduction. Limiting the practice to a small number of private homes keeps the principal directly involved from the first drawings through to final completion. Begin the conversation →
